People carve some really elaborate pumpkins. It's always fun to see them.
Not a tradition here... so far, as I see some ordinary Halloween pumpkin masks just spread around in some places!
Do you have a Day of the Dead tradition during that time?
We do, it's November 1st. It's a holiday called the Day of all Saints, or, in Portuguese, Dia de Todos os Santos, or the day of the dead, dia dos finados. People go to the cemeteries this day!

I don't think we ever did. Some of the areas of the country that have big Hispanic populations probably do. The southwest. But not here in my area.
