She appeared like magic and we exchanged looks!
It was a dreary, cold morning, as it rained during the night and the clouds were slowly receding.
I stood as still as a garden statue and she decided that I was no threat. So she went about her business of preparing for the day and I went about my business with my camera.
Let's have a look at this ritual!
What? A squirrel praying at the start of the day?
After the prayer she bowed her head!
She then bowed face down!
Then she sang a song playing on her air guitar!
Afterwards she curtsied with her skirt!
Humbly she bowed a thank you to the praise of her one man audience and his camera!
Just some light-hearted anti-Monday blues fun! These little creatures remind us that no matter how bleak something in life may look, there is always the wonderful opportunity of experiencing beautiful daily miracles to encourage us and to lift up our souls.
May your hearts be warmed with the rays of sunshine brought by these little creatures of creation. Little innocent ones who understand the rhythms of nature and the joy and thankfulness that comes in the morning.
