I went to get my drivers license renewed today. I hade to take an eye test. They said
Can you read the bottom line ?
It was one of thoes little eye test machines.

There all numbers, no letters.
I looked her right in the eye and said
I no speaked da English
I failed the eye test , needless to say. Hahahaha
My license expires on the 8th. There is no grece period after the expiration date.
Now I have to see an eye doctor, he has to fill out a form and send it in to the state (Fax). I have a eye apointment on Thursday the 9th at 2 pm. So I should be able to go to the DMV on Friday. That’s the, or one of the cost of chemo.
That’s where the Drivers license stance is. Our drivers License is like a passport to the EU. Changes have been made to our Drivers License because some states issued them to non citizens making them useless for things like voting and determining wether you are a citizen.
I just reviewed the results of the CAT Scan report. I still have to go over it with the oncologist tomorrow (7th).
The report is nether good or bad.
Did the cancer get worse from the CAT Scan of 6 February.
Yes it did
We passed the 90 day goal. That’s a plus. That was a very important goal and we made it.
This is a topic for tomorrow after I speak with the oncologist. I will have a better understanding on the current condition and the path forward.

Hmmm? Our passports are not needed in the EU, at all. If you don't travel outside the EU, you can spend your whole life without asking for a passport.
Maybe you meant the ID Card?
No I ment the passports. I may be going back a couple years or 10. I am sure lots of people also remember .hahaha
Sometimes there are bad days, with bad news, but the most important thing is to be optimistic and be aware of continuing to enjoy life even more! The best luck!

That drivers license stuff is so frustrating. I hate going to that place. At mine there is a very hostile looking security guard in the waiting room that always looks like he is ready to put down a riot :)

I hope they have a plane of actions. I will play it by ear and listen. I am trying to just keep calm and not let things get out of control in my head.

Ahh she laughed and had fun with the banter. She called the state to help out. Not a bad experance and not her fault I am half blind. Her mom has cancer and the chemo she went blind
I am sorry that you have to mess around with your drivers license renewal. That just seems like one headache you do not need right now. Mine comes up for renewal in Aug and even though I have voluntarily not driven in 4 years, you are right, a drivers license is such an important document to have for so many reasons. I will decide in August what to do about mine.
I hope the oncologist finds some reassuring news for you in your numbers tomorrow.
I also don’t drive. They drive me to the doctors and appointments. In the future I will need it and it would be a Hugh pain to get one later. Easier to keep it active.
Now I have to go to the eye doctor and get some glasses. A big pain in the ass.
It will ether be chemo or immune therapy. I can’t see where no treatment is done.

I can only imagine how tired you must be. I'm sorry about that drivers license nonsense. There should be an option for us that says, I've been driving my whole life, I don't intend to drive now, but just give me a token driver's license so that I have it! I suppose that is what state issued id's are for. I don't expect to ever drive again. You will have to drive over to visit me when you are back behind the wheel!
The problem is that living out in the country driving is a requirement. And once you have shown you have the understanding to drive it should not be revoked . I don’t have to show that I have a handicapped vehicle and the knowledge to drive it.
The problem always goes back to personnel responsibility. So as a result all these laws have to be past
Exactly! I am out in the country, too, and my Chicago kids were were just talking this weekend about how my world would expand so much if I lived in the city. So many more options for someone who cannot drive. I may have to consider that in the future. I have never lived in a city, that would be quite an adventure for me!
It has its pro’s and con’s but if your handicapped it is a plus if you can find a neborhood and an apartment. And you have to be able to afford it. That’s the hard part hahaha.
It is some thing to consider, anyway!
