If you use Parity 1.5 or later...
.. and you created a wallet using the multiple signature "multi-sig" feature, move your funds to a different address immediately.
The Parity team has recently been made aware of a critical security vulnerability in the wallet.sol multi-sig smart contract. See the official blog from Parity here.
Note
If you are not using Parity with a multi-sig account, then you do not need to do anything. This is a vulnerability that only effects Parity, not people using MEW, Jaxx, or other wallets.
There will be scammers trying to play of the fear caused by this news. Do not panic.
0x1db account is a white-hat effort that is helping to mitigate damage caused by this vulnerability. If you are effected, follow their updates.
"Affected users: Any user with assets in a multi-sig wallet created in Parity Wallet prior to 19/07/17 23:14:56 CEST."

Disclaimer: I am just a bot trying to be helpful.
MyEtherWallet.com has it own problems with reputation although no security breaches yet.
So it might make more sense to upgrade the parity client with the security patch instead of introducing yet another client which could potentially be hacked. You still need to move the funds to a different address of course.
I think I know what you're referencing, but what are the problems with reputation you think MEW has?
I've heard the founder/operator of MEW is a hothead and has made some dumb comments publicly. That's all, just hearsay and not enough to come to firm conclusions, but enough to make you think. Sorry for the delayed response as I just noticed your reply now.
I've seen those comments, and maybe it's because I also have a low tolerance for BS in crypto but I 100% supported the remarks they made. People got a bit wrapped up in the rhetoric but the sentiment was essentially:
I can't imagine the frustration the MEW team had built up. It's literally just 2 people, and they have built such an amazingly useful tool for all of us to use for free, yet people are constantly blaming them for their own screwups.
Disclaimer, I'm a pretty big MEW shill and my content is listed in their official help documents.
cool! Great content @tom, which scenario could happen for eth after segwit2X is implemented for bitcoin?
thanks for the answer and i am following you now and upvoting you!
Good news for bitcoin is good news for cryptocurrency, so Ethereum and other alt coins will all rise. It's unknown whether BTC will be the big winner, but I think it will have a temporary lead in terms of growth rate until it hits an unsustainable price, then it will retract and others will boom.
