Thoughtful post. Most of us don't have to look very far from home to have our mercy called. Even huge disasters can be addressed through communities and churches for example that are right there and have no hidden agenda or overhead. They also tend to be direct with no red tape.

Thanks for the reply. I agree, there are many good ways to give back, especially locally like you said. It was cool to see a potential blockchain solution although you could also technicaly do P2P bitcoin or ETH transactions. Will be interesting to see how Grace tokens work out.
