RE: Explaining the way I curate on Steem after a couple of weeks into the EIP.

Thanks for this post, I'm actually liking you a bit more now because of it.

People, myself included, like to judge others based on their actions without maybe knowing why they do the things they do. Even though I'm someone who has attempted in the past 3 years, even when I had no stake of my own and was controlling others through trails, to spread it as wide as possible. In hindsight, I am not so sure if that was the best method, sure I may have increased retention of some users and kept them going, but many of them have left because of the markets. So I kind of understand the concentration of stake, even though many would assume it's just so you yourself would make more during the old rules - as votetrading was pretty much the same as delegating to bid bots or self-voting shit 10x per day. In your case you at least providing some great content along with it (even if it was just one out of the two daily posts :P).

Anyway, not sure if you read my last comment, the muting part seemed to reflect on it, but I understand that too, often I wish I could just mute some users who do nothing but complain and bitch about everything and anything when the reality is that there is no other platform in existence as good as Steem and the current phase is too early to judge after the recent HF if the EIP has shown its full effect, until then we continue trying to improve on it while policing eachother a bit better which was something we could not do before.

Next time Steem pumps and another bear market hits, will there be as much complaints and people leaving as the last two? Or will they finally understand that there is nothing that can stop Steem so they better try to get their shit together and help out instead of constantly finding things to complain about.

Enjoyed the post.
