I can understand walking the line of anonymity, but yea..it's just so much more fun when your real life friends are on here too. It seems to bring things to a whole new level. You also could always get another account made if you wanted to say some things without being known. :)
Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help your friends while starting up or answering questions you don't have the words for (yet.) This is absolutely a 'more the merrier' situation. Lol
