I am trying so hard to get my friends and family to join, but they think steemit is a scam or just are "afraid of change". I think that once steemit goes main streem they are going to rush to join, so i'm not too hung up on it. The only thing is that when they join, guess who they are going to ask for resteems and upvotes lol Of course I will help them out, but It sucks that I have to grind to the top while they will just reap the benefits off my hard work. Oh well I guess that's whale problems for ya haha Great post!

How long have you been here? My friends only started being convinced when they realized I had been at it for a year now and it's still going well. Just keep posting about it. :) My friends now see me legit paying rent, buying a new computer. It's obviously legit rewarding me and they are rushing over now.
I've only been here for a month, so I absolutely agree with you! I Just hope the train doesn't leave the station before I'm reputation 72, posting memes about unicorns making $100 a post haha I'm just playing though. Quality content all the way! Congrats on your success though. I sometimes visit the trending and hot tabs to get some motivation from bloggers like you, so I can continue to keep my head down and keep steemin haha
