"The same wind blows on us all and the difference on where will we arrive is not in the wind but in how we set the sails." - I like it, but what I like more is this quote: "Learn to be the fish. See how the current goes in your river and adjust slightly to swim in the best possible direction."

Why I like the second quote more? The second part is the same in both quotes, but the first part isn't. "The same wind blows on us" - I can't agree with this, we do have many different winds (starting points, positive and negative events in our lives) in the world. "See how the current goes in your river" - you are where you are, accept that, and do the best you can in a given situation! Aaand hope, don't despair, as you well pointed out!

I'm glad I've bumped into your post, I'm new to Steemit and I also write about life and society philosophy, I'm looking forward to our discussions.
