RE: On gender equality and feminism. What is your opinion?

in #family7 years ago

My take on this issue is that I support the fact that women need more rights because infact truth be told some men take this superiority thing to far and they begin to feel like gods and that's bad but then when women that suffer from men like this get the chance to be superior they take it whole heartedly and even teach their ways to their daughters so that they wouldn't experience they same pain that they have so all of this gender equality thing still balls down to men not doing things right and women feeling if they take control they can do it better in d olden days men didn't fight with their wives because he would be considered a coward I understand its normal for a man and a woman to bicker sometimes but in those days men understood women but now some men even go as far as beating their own wives just because they feel "I am superior and she can't do anything about it" forgetting that a man is d head of the house but it's d woman dat leads the home some men are just so rude to women I would not say that I am a feminist but I will never support any man that treats a woman wrongly I believe equal right has made some men to come back to their senses. Women are fragile I once met a man that said beating a woman is like deliberately hitting a glass window Yes it will break but u will definitely be scarred if I should continue to talk I might exhaust the day but in my own opinion I support gender equity

Yes, I agree with you that some men are quite abusive. I have personally dealt with one abusing his wife. Giving a woman her rights as a human is very important. I'm only concerned about the modern day feminists who seem to be antagonistic against men.

I see you know I don't blame most of them for taking things to far the yoruba's have an adage that says "ti ko ba nidi obirin ko kin je kumolu" meaning everything happens for a reason although they are wrong for doing what they are doing but d difference between everyone's perception is their experiences
