That's a very cool looking bird with the spiky hair.
When I was growing up, one of the local farmers (my father's cousin) had guinea hens. They're funny birds with a weird temperament. They don't stay near the farm like chickens and turkeys and other birds. They would roam around the whole village. When they had babies, you would see the mother with 12 chicks following her, then a few hours later, 8 chicks, and there would be fewer and fewer chicks as time went on. They don't make good mothers. :-D
Haha i bet the hawks were picking off the little chocken nugget babies. Guinea hens used to raid our garden back in arizona. I wonder if they taste any good.
