I will do my best to not only surprise you but surprise myself as well this last few week I have struggled to get going on the weekends I need to break myself out of that

For me it is easy to get up, when I don't need to go to work, what means, from Monday to Friday I don't like to get up ;)
On holidays and on weekends, I can get up at any time :)

I used to wake easy and get moving same time everyday of the week nit sure why now I am struggling on weekends fir the getting moving part lol

They say, when you get older you don't need so much sleep anymore.
I dont think so - I like to get up early, but I also go to bed early.
When I sleep late, I hate to get up in the morning, although I do it, because "I might miss something": maybe a beautiful sunrise, maybe only a calm and peaceful morning at the lake or my balcony ;) lol

I have read that you need less sleep as you get older fir me it seems to be the opposite until I hit 50 I rarely slept more than 4 hours now I need 6 as for getting motivated and out I think it’s just with nit going out over the long winter I have just got into a rut and need to kick myself back into gear

Oh, it's the oposite with me: When I was younger I used to sleep longer. I have tried to sleep at least 8 hours. Now I go to bed at about 10-11, sometimes a bit later, but very seldom. Usualy my alarm rings at 5, what means that I could sleep at least for 6 hours, just like you ;)
But when I need to get up at 2:30 or 3 I don't have any problems either.

As I wrote above, when I was younger I really tried to have a sleeping time of about 8 hours. Now I do not care about the hours anymore, but I try to sleep as much as I can to be "motivated", as you say ;)

These days I go to bed at about 10 or 10:30 and get up around 4 so around 6 hours but then again I do snooze for half an hour on the train most mornings never in the evening coming home or i wont sleep at night, Last Night i just couldn’t sleep as usual it was about 1Am I finally feel asleep
I think there are all kinds of theories about how much sleep one should get, for meI look at it simply, if you wake up and feel ready for the day you have had enough sleep whether its 4 6 or 10 hours sleep :)
