Well, Mr. @dandays...this was an awesome post...where do I begin? I love the walk through Easter week, great info and wow, that town looks like a ghost town! I bet it was kind of spooky, too quiet right? I just want you and @puravidaville to know, after her post last night I went right to the market today to purchase chayote.. and another pinapple! (Did I tell you I am growing m y own?) .I'm making tacos and I'll prove it in a post this week! Those look so amazing....I didn't manage to get any rutabagas but I do have sweet taters...they'll have to do! Congrats again on the Spotlight....you truly deserved it, about time! I'll say it again, you two are just too cute! God Bless you, hope you have an amazing Easter....I'll be at the Sunrise service on the beach :)

Thank you, I’m glad you liked this one, it took me by surprise but I just kept going with it. I’ve seen a few discrepancies about Holy Week and wasn’t certain myself so here we are—got it figured out finally! 😉

The first time I had chayote, I deep fried it, this was quite a few years ago and, of course, what isn’t good deep fried, right? They weren’t deep fried this time and equally delicious.
