So, I absolutely love superheroes, and there's definitely something to be romanticised on about being able to perform acts others can't. But I guess the problem with vigilantes is (as Batman always says, sometime or the other) how do you stop them when they go on the other side of the law, or public opinion? And how can we trust their judgement will always be right? I believe every comicbook hero in every media has gone through this, making a bad call that results in someone getting hurt. Now that's all fine in books and films, but turn around and imagine you were actually the victim of such an error, with no hope of justice or reparation.
