I'm not one to typically follow that bpm type method of trying to lose weight. I think having a clean diet that puts you in a caloric deficit supplemented with some weight lifting and whatever kind of cardio you enjoy is the best way to lose weight - it's simple, easy to follow and uncomplicated in my opinion
