Calories in, calories out: the only math needed for weight loss! :) Do you use a food scale with your measurements? I found weight to be much easier to be exact to get the momentum started but I gradually becane more relaxed. I found moving my calculations to an average over a few days rather than each day made the transition to intuitive eating easier, after I felt more dialed in to what my common meals and snacks looked like in the range I wanted to hit for my desired weigh/composition. Salmon looks yummy!
I have more or less become a bit more relaxed about it, and I take the average. Like an average potato is 77 Calories, obviously each one is going to be bigger or smaller. So yeah were on the same page, by being more relaxed it is easier to keep doing it. :p
It's so nice to have the comfort in knowing that you are dialed into your range so you don't have to devote much time to calculations and focus the energy on making the right choices for yourself in a given day. Looking at food as something to support my well-being instead of a reward or distraction has transformed my relationship with my nutrition. Inspiring to keep watching!
