RE: Why is my account being flagged?

in #flagged6 years ago

I think you have to appreciate how your posts looked to others. There was little sign of human input and something like that could easily be automated. There are no rules, but if people see this they will form their own impressions and seeing those posts earning several dollars in rewards for what looked like little effort made us think they needed some adjustment.

We cannot stop people buying votes, but in many cases it seems to be purely to make a profit. I'm not sure how much attention it would get you anyway. Those posts were not going to get on trending and boosting several posts each day can seem greedy.

Some people take flags as a personal attack, but it is a valid form of curation. We want rewards to go to good content.

Those in the Steem Flag Rewards group are a tiny part of the Steem community, so you don't have to consider us representative. We just want this platform to be better than is currently is.

Maybe you need to consider what the audience is for what you do and seek them out. Do you think they will consider it to have enough value to give it votes? In my opinion less posts with higher quality may be a better path. Show that there is a person behind this.

We don't want to chase people away from Steem. If you want to create something then you are very welcome here, but I think it's best to work with the greater community. It's much more fun to get human interaction.
