I mean I guess the Earth could be a rotating 2-D plane (like a treadmill) but different locations having different sun angles in comparison to the horizon would seem to debunk this. The viewpoint given in video doesn't appear to address this issue. But I wonder why I need to use my imagination when the proposed theory (flat Earth) doesn't address this issue. Sure I could be wrong, but my evidence appears to contradict said theory.

There are a lot of misunderstandings of flat earth theory. When you try to apply globe principles to flat earth it makes it hard to grasp. In flat earth, the sun is a much smaller, closer object than in the globe model.
