My senses say the earth is round. I do think it's an interesting topic for sure;
I just don't agree :)
Actually, my senses say the opposite. When I go in an airplane and look through the window, all I see is a flat horizon. All my other experience of the world has not told me in any way that it is round or that it moves. I'd be surprised if anyone's senses have told them differently, apart from the TV screens.
Another point you brought up is that Isaiah says 'circle', therefore it means round. Well, that's nice, but a plate is circular as well. There's a difference between a circle and a sphere. This is even more apparent when we look in other chapters in Isaiah, where he wrote the word for 'sphere, or 'ball'. Isiah knew the difference between a circle and a ball, and we cannot twist one to mean the other.
That's my personal opinion, it's ok to disagree. ^_^
