Anyone who has read the bible can tell you, there is no chapter and verse that says the phrase "The earth is Flat". But there are passages that explicitly state that the earth does not move:
- 1 Chronicles 16:30: “He has fixed the earth firm, immovable.”
- Psalm 93:1: “Thou hast fixed the earth immovable and firm ...”
- Psalm 96:10: “He has fixed the earth firm, immovable ...”
- Psalm 104:5: “Thou didst fix the earth on its foundation so that it never can be shaken.”
- Isaiah 45:18: “...who made the earth and fashioned it, and himself fixed it fast...”
And that the earth is a plate:
- And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
Wait, what? What does "breadth" have to do with a "plate"? That word "breadth" is G4114 "platos" meaning width. It comes from the Greek word "platus" G4111 spread out FLAT like a plate. This is the source of the English word "plate".

There is only one truth, either the one we were told about by men and the one we are told about from the scriptures.
Ask yourself: Do I love the truth enough for an honest investigation into the biblical earth model?
Yeah but what is the point of a flat earth? I mean.. so what if it's flat or round? It seems to me there are lot more important things to be investigating than whether the earth is flat or not. What is the point of a flat earth? I just don't get it.
Also, nobody's ever reached the end of the earth because it's round and not flat. If you continue going east you never end up at the west because the earth is round. The sun rises in the east and sets in the west, because the earth is round. When you get to the north pole you can only go south no matter which way you go because the earth is round. When you get to the south pole you can only go north no matter which way you go because the earth is round. When it's summer in the northern hemisphere it's winter in the southern hemisphere because the earth is round. When day breaks on this side of the planet, night falls on the opposite side because the earth is round and moves around the sun. Yes, the earth is fixed and "immovable" - but fixed and immovable in relation to us and its orbit and to the sun. The earth will not bump itself out of its movable orbit because it's fixed and immovable in that orbit. This is why the your shade will move around when you stand still for hours on a sunny day. The earth moves around the sun in an orbit. When you fly 30,000 feet up in the air the earth appears spherical... because it is spherical. The bible talks of the circle of the earth, because it is round. The earth is round, not flat. Except in the Pirates of the Caribbean.
Hey, you can believe what you want and that's cool. I believe the earth is round, and that's also cool - and true.

I just don't agree :)
Actually, my senses say the opposite. When I go in an airplane and look through the window, all I see is a flat horizon. All my other experience of the world has not told me in any way that it is round or that it moves. I'd be surprised if anyone's senses have told them differently, apart from the TV screens.
Another point you brought up is that Isaiah says 'circle', therefore it means round. Well, that's nice, but a plate is circular as well. There's a difference between a circle and a sphere. This is even more apparent when we look in other chapters in Isaiah, where he wrote the word for 'sphere, or 'ball'. Isiah knew the difference between a circle and a ball, and we cannot twist one to mean the other.
That's my personal opinion, it's ok to disagree. ^_^
ok I know we have been in the middle of tons of lies from the elite, and I believe they want to have a mass control over the population, so lets say the earth is flat, what would them hide lying us saying the earth is spheric? I have open mind and wouldnt be surprised to find my textbooks didnt say the truth
This is not a NASA or science deception, it's a Satanic deception. I'm not saying a person is satanic if they believe in a globe (of course not), but that the deception comes from the millennia old rebellion against the creator of Heaven and earth. The deception has only been successful for a few hundred years and it's beginning to crumble around the edges. That is the natural outcome of the information age. While the easy access to information lends great strength to the deception, it also allows a restoration of ancient wisdom for those who have ears to hear.
I believe that the minions of Satan are 'hiding God'. They know that atheism and humanism would never catch while we understand that we live inside a giant structure with a roof and the Heavenly realm immediately above us. And that the sun moon and stars are there for us humans (!!) for days years and appointed times.
They would rather us believe that 'heaven' is an empty vacuum, void of any deity. And we're told we've been there - no throne, no Heavenly Temple, no angels. Makes the bible look like a fairy tail - exactly the point. The best way for them to rebel against the creator of Heaven and earth is convince the masses that He does not exist, evidenced by man's great religion of scientism. Convince the masses that god only exists inside of humanity, elevating man-kind to god status. Oh the hubris.

Ironshield is correct in the overall reason for the deception. It's an overarching idea which cements all other deceptions.
However, there is a more practical reason for it. The following quote was ascribed to Hitler, though I am unsure whether he really said it: "Let me control the textbooks and I will control the state". Whether he said it, or not, is irrelevant. The point it makes is what's important. Controlling the mind of a child will give you control over that person for the rest of their life.
Today, our children are bombarded with the idea that the world is round and that we know so because Science and Space Organisations tell us so. They show us their telescopes. The child then grows up and goes to school, where they continue to trust the establishment, not their parents, about how the world works. By the time the child has become an adult, they are so indoctrinated that they will never question the way the world is, they will never question NASA, scientists, astronomers, possibly politicians. Even if they do question politicians, they will still support the academia blindly.
This is pure, perfectly executed mind control over the entire world. The Nazi psychologists and other interesting people would be proud.
How do you control someone's mind? By making them think that the world is the way YOU say it is.

i have been studying this topic for a long time, but who knows... I had read your bible verses but I do not adopt any of both theories... nice and interesting post.
