sorry but that's just density, the phone is denser than the surrounding air. Why is gravity needed there. And how do you explain helium balloons, does gravity have some weird aversion to helium? Everything can be explained with density and buoyancy, gravity is only needed to make water stick to a spinning ball. Which would mean water would curve, which it doesn't. Nice try though.
