Cinnamon Rolls and the sweet Tooth Fairy

in #food7 years ago (edited)

Hey Steemians,

this is another artistic approach of one of my food photographies I need to get rid of.
Not in that negative kind of way, but more a positive way. While I was working on a way to creating an authentic vegan donut recipe, I stumbled upon some other ideas with a similar recipe. Unfortunately these buns do look delicious, but they are a heck of a work I tell ya!
The first bash will really be fun, but when family members ask you to do more of them in the future, you'll be cursing them. I just don't have the patience anymore to stand there and roll them to snails, that's what they call 'em in Germany Schnecken, because they have the snail-shaped housing.

For the recipe, hmm. (...)
I'm sorry, but you have to wait at least until next week when I will be measuring the accurate weight for the ingredients.
But what I can tell you is that you can prepare cinnamon, sugar, salt, spelled flour, dry yeast, oat milk, vegan butter (Alsan), nutmeg, raisins and marzipan.

Until next week guys!

Doh! is my instagram. But running against too much competition there the math just doesn't sum up all the pressure a gramer is surrounded by. Feel free to look, theres just no need to add me because I'm not as active as I am on Steemit.

Cinnamon rolls one of may favorite! I’m always looking for new & different recipes! I’ll be watching for it! Thanks! Yumm

Thank you! I'm really sorry to disappoint you guys at all, but I just don't write my recipes down, which is a much more hustle for me, when I need to post something on my blog and only have the pictures but no listing of the ingredients, lol.
I sure will send @ you! My family is coming over next week to visit me, which is why I have to keep my promise, so I'm dedicated either way.

looks tasty! I had no idea about the difference between normal donuts and vegan donuts, maybe the "butter" as you mentioned? :)

Hey thank you! First, non-vegan donuts mostly have eggs and milk added to the batter, which is why they are crips on the outside and soft from the inside. The recipe I came up with doesn't have either, but as I was looking around, most vegan recipes only had baking soda or baking powder added to their batter, which don't give the needed results.
