If you are going to do ribs you may as well do them right! They are one of those dishes where there is no half way. Ribs are usually great or ordinary, or as is the case at "The Smoking Pug", the ribs are simply amazing!

Unlike the chain American diners offering up bland fare, the Pug is a true BBQ experience. Owned and operated by an American couple from Texas, this no nonsense establishment is without peers when it comes to BBQ ribs. The small brick shophouse is usually booked out every night of the week, but if you show up, they'll always find a bit of bar-space for you to sit, chat and feast.

The ribs are beyond comparison, cooked and basted to absolute perfection everytime. Complimented with some coleslaw, cornbread and beans, and you have one heck of a meal. My wife and I barely made it through the full-rack..It's Big! Of course, washed down with a delicious cold craft beer from the fridge and it doesnt get much better than that!

yes, its relatively new. Probably about 2 years, its on Suriwongse Road in Silom. If you want to go, make sure to book a table, its small and it gets full! :)
