I went out to a higher end restaurant recently and they had an item on the menu I had to get - the hanger steak:
The hanger steak is a fairly rare steak to spot on a menu as there is only one per cow that can be harvested. The cut also has special preparation and trimming to be done correctly. Further, it is more challenging to cook properly and needs to be prepared more similarly to a flank steak than other fancier cuts.
However, a good hanger steak is hard to beat when it comes to flavor, texture and juiciness - this one was great!

It is a big portion, would be enough for my two meals :)
tasty and nice till the palate only, because after that the burnt meat would cause cancer if keep eating it, leave alone the negative implications of restaurants' poor usage of oils and cooking practices

Never see hangar steaks anymore. I suspect the butchers keep them... it is one of the best cuts
