in #food7 years ago

Hello my steemit community,

In today's edition of IMPROVING HEALTH OF STEEMIANS, I want to share with you recipes for smoothies that helped me and my patient to lose excessive stomach fat. I know we all try to hit the gym after the holidays so this will definitely help you get that summer body.

1. BLUEBERRIES,CUCUMBERS AND GREEN TEA

This purple smoothie has a citrus flavor due to fresh lemon juice and green tea. It also includes blueberries, which help in losing belly fat. Researchers at the University of Michigan have shown that consuming blueberries decrease abdominal fat. They tested that theory on two groups of rats, one was on a blueberry diet for 90 days and other was without blueberries. The group with blueberry diet decreased their abdominal fat significantly compared with the control group. In addition, green tea contains catechins, which help accelerate metabolism and increase fat loss.

INGREDIENTS

3/4 cup frozen blueberries
1/4 cup fresh sliced cucumbers
1/2 cup green tea
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
1 teaspoon of maple syrup
2 cubes of ice

Combine ingredients in a blender and process until everything is creamy :)

2. BANANA, PEAR AND CINNAMON

This is my favorite.
Potassium from the bananas regulates the level of a salt in the body. Pears are an excellent source of fiber, which slows down the digestion while the cinnamon does the so-called "cinnamon" thermal burning, which helps the body to burn fat.

INGREDIENTS

1/2 medium frozen banana
1/2 pears, sliced
1 teaspoon of minced cinnamon
3/4 cup unsalted almond milk
2 cubes of ice

Combine ingredients in a blender and process until everything is creamy :)

3. COCONUT AND CITRUS

Fresh orange juice and mature mango are full of vitamin C for boosting immunity. Indian nuts offer healthy monosaccharides which are not only good for the heart health, but also for reducing fat around the belly.

Coconut milk and coconut pieces have high levels of calories and special saturated fats, which we know as MCT. In the study of the International Journal of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders, it has been shown that coconut MCT increases fat burning and calorie consumption in obese men.

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup of freshly squeezed orange juice
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
1/2 cup of mango
1/4 cup Indian nuts
1/4 cup unaltered coconut milk
1 teaspoon of maple syrup
2 cubes of ice

Combine ingredients in a blender and process until everything is creamy :)

Hope to see yo doc.

@seyiodus.

Thank you. It is absolutely good for a nursing mother. Unfortunately I don't have time for air-clinic, because I work at my clinic plus writing health articles on steemit. If I join it, I would not have time to sleep :)

Oh, I get it. But you can still join and chip in once in a while so that you can be able to sleep. Thanks Doc :).

Another great post. Yes many of us need a little extra help after holidays. Will have to give these smoothies a go. They sound delicious.

Thank you. After you try them, comment how they taste :)

I will definitely comment on how they taste. I do a beet, apple, carrot and bit of ginger. It's very good
