Sweet corn this season

in #food3 years ago

Boiled or roasted, it brings them lots of money but it brings me satisfaction. Its corn season over here and its where I spend my money these days.

Its one street food I don't mind eating. Because I am conscious of taking precaution against Covid-19, I dont fail to roast it again before eating. This gets it burnt most times but I'm fine with it.

Funny how you don't find in the morning time. Rarely are they ready by noon but any moment from 4pm take a stroll on out here and you'll see different vendors either roasting or boiling it.

I have my customer and she knows how I like it. A corn and some pears, a blend that brings pure bliss.

I remember when i was younger, my elder sibling would tease me with sweet corn because of my missing front tooth. I couldn't eat the corn directly unless I used my hand to pick it out of the cob. Talk about time and season! I have complete teeth now, and I can afford corn too. So every season I eat sweet corn to my satisfaction.

I'm not sure yet, but I think I like roasted corn better than boiled ones. How about you?
