RE: I don't taste food while I cook.

Imagine being able to interact with an Author as the story is being created. It would be like a somewhat interactive novel.

Ya, wow.

It's too bad Steemit isn't naturally better for novels, but it does seem it could be used in ways that are interesting. (Like it's not the optimal solution for novels on the blockchain, but you could potentially find ways to do things that work well.)

I don't know if you're looking for something more elaborate, but you could vaguely do it by voting in comments section for what happens next, like each comment is an option and you go by amount of votes or SP.

Or you could do funkier things too, like the author needs to be re-elected or someone else starts writing the next chapter.

I think it works totally good as a game, but not really a great mechanism to get a good novel lol, it's just a few people clicking buttons sending it where they want to

@accio has actually started a steemit interactive story. It's pretty neat although I have not read the second part yet. I'm hoping to later tonight. Your comment reminded me of it. It's solid writing, and a bit of fun. Like the old interactive books that would say, to do x turn to page 123, and to do y turn to page 158.
