It is frustrating not finding pre-made vegan pizzas very often. I think if only these supermarket companies knew how many of them they would sell they would definitely start producing them and making profit on them. Give it a few years we'll probably see vegan pizzas in most shops..... hopefully!

There are a couple of independent food suppliers near me who specialise in higher quality pre-prepared meals like pizzas and pies etc. - they stock organic items and vegan items too.. If the main supermarkets start using these ideas then they will lower the quality as they always do.
I wouldn't hold your breath though, since I am aware that the supermarkets here go to great lengths to put dairy alternatives in fairly hidden locations in their shop layouts so that the people who will only by them will eventually find them and continue to be customers, but the majority of shoppers will never even realise that the alternatives exist..
I'm a big fan of the large supermarkets selling specialty vegan food like cheese and meats because it increases the public awareness of veganism and brings it to mainstream culture away from the "fringes". Anything that can decrease the sale and consumption of animal products is a good thing.
Sure, yes - they could do a lot more to make these products obvious in many cases though. I did see in a big sainsburys here today that they now have added about 8-10 nut milks and some of them are organic - so that's a step in the right direction.
