Nope.. kinda strange but it seems that the plantain hasn't come to SE-Asia yet! In Belgium we had them in the supermarkets but Cambodia is so rural that supermarkets are only to be found in the 2 big cities... no supermarkets where we live... local farmers and yummy pesticide-free food ;)
Well, everything has its advantages and disadvantages. I love local markets :) But sometimes, when you need more stuff, it's gteat to have a suoermarket closeby. It's so cool you live in Cambodia, by the way. I'm planning to travel in Asia next year :)
