Butter was one of the things I missed a lot in the beginning. I don't like to substitute with common oleos from the supermarket. So many ingredients look scary! Inbetween I found me some alternatives - bought or selfmade and I find the original Taste of dairy butter weird. Your recipe looks delicious. Maybe I#ll give it a try ...

I just checked: I have almonds at home ...
Turned out nice and smooth. I had just a little bit of coconut oil left over. So I replaced the biggest part of the oil with cacao butter ... Next time I will use cacao butter only because I didn't like the taste of the coconut oil in my butter so much. It is okay with jam but cacao butter is more neutral with other things like vegan cheese or spread or smoked tofu (which I like a lot with bread. Thank you again for the recipe!
