Info: "Mei Cai" (this is how the name of the dish is pronounced in Chinese) is a kind of pork stew, which is a real bomb of taste!
Thanks to the fact it is cooked slowly for a long time in fish sauce, it is so delicate that you can eat it with a spoon! Literally! I never had the opportunity to try a piece of meat with such a delicate and creamy texture before.
A characteristic addition is Mui Choy, a kind of Chinese cabbage, which in consistency reminds mushrooms or seaweeds. However, it has a slightly mustard taste and that is very surprising. This was the first time I have tried this vegetable and I think it fits fantastic to the pork.
The whole dish doesn't need many spices because its ingredients have their own, intensive flavors. Thatโs why it is seasoned only with light and dark soy sauce, sugar and sesame oil. You simply have to try this dish and see for yourself what kind of perfection you can bring to preparing "ordinary" pork belly.

Information: This is an original author's cooking recipe mixing local ingredients.
The bacon is seasoned with salt, ground garlic, pepper and a pinch of ground panca chili. It is placed in the oven in a fountain with a splash of beer and another of water, a branch of laurel and another of rosemary, at a very very low temperature, for an hour and a half. At the end the temperature is raised to the maximum so that the skin is golden brown and crispy.

SAMGYUPSAL is a Korean word which means โPork bellyโ. It is usually marinated and seasoned with Korean flavours such as Korean soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, pepper, sugar, chili and more secret ingredients perhaps.
Honestly, I donโt know exactly what are the exact flavours but those are what I tasted. It was cooked over a grill or barbeque style.
Basically its a Korean Barbeque pork belly which I tasted at GEN KOREAN BBQ HOUSE, Philippines... And it was so good, the pork is so soft and tasty with the best combination of Kimchi, pickled turnips and onion and fresh vegetable salad.
Also, the price was so cheap!!! The resto is an eat all you can, you can get as many Samgyupsal as you want and the other interesting part, the costumer will be the one to cook it over the grill on top of the table. Yum! ๐

Lechon Pork Belly is a special food here in the Philippines served during fiesta and all special occassions.
This food is a whole big slice of pork belly rolled and stuffed inside with lemon grass, onion, garlic, salt, black peppercorns and bay leaves and tied with fabric string to secure the stuff. Then marinate the whole piece with pure pineapple juice with salt and pepper for about 6 hours or more, the longer time will make it more tasty.
After that, it will be cook in perfection in the oven or rotisserie until tender and crispy.
When its done, the whole piece of this Lechon Pork Belly is good for about 10 persons. The meat is so tender and juicy while the outside or skin is crackling with crispiness in every bite.
Ugh! The taste of this roasted meat was really superb! I am actually salivating at this moment!๐ญ๐คค

This delicious and traditional dish of our country from different regions, it is very easy to do it.
With tender corn the grains are removed and they are milled of there is a paste that adds sugar and salt to the taste and is placed in a hot budare where it takes rounded form round and round and ready.
Then with the pig it is cleaned well and very basic seasonings are added, it is left for a few hours and hot oil is added until it gets that nice golden color it is removed and a little salt is added and that's it.
With a slice of Telita cheese and avocado, this dish is ready.

They give is sausages, hams and other staff. Today I want to tell you the story of Lardo di Colonnata: a special kind of pig belly. Colonnata is a beautiful town in the middle of the mountain in the center of Italy. This land is very famous in the world for its marble.
This pig belly is a mix with prodoct of the earth an farming: it has been aged inside of the marble with pepper and salt. This taste is great and the best solution of lardo is with the bread: just a few seconds on the fire it melt and gets trasparent.
