I am certain that I have eaten it before, and heard of it, but never knew it was such as simple ingredient combination. With so much sweet produce coming back into season soon, I love to use the tartness of citrus or rhubarb to increase the complexity.
The thickness from the reduction would work very well people that have difficulty swallowing fast-flowing liquids; this group often does not get to experience gourmet ingredients or methods of cooking, but hopefully that changes. Thanks for the inspiration!!
