Protein is essential for humans. It is the 2nd largest constituent in body after water.
We need protein to put on bones as muscles, to make hair, antibodies, blood, connective tissues, enzymes and many more.. It is common that often bodybuilders and athletes take more lots of proteins through different sources to bulk up and put some mass on.
The Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) for protein is a modest 0.8 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight. The RDA is the amount of a nutrient you need to meet your basic nutritional requirements. In a sense, it’s the minimum amount you need to keep from getting sick — not the specific amount you are supposed to eat every day.
RDA is confusing you??
Here i make it easier for you .. According to world's renowned dietitians and nutrition experts, for a relatively active adult, eating enough protein to meet the RDA would supply as little as 10% of his or her total daily calories. In comparison, the average American consumes around 16% of his or her daily calories in the form of protein, from both plant and animal sources.
i have put some food which are rich protein sources and the amount of protein present in these foods..
Very Nice, Clean post @uneeb ! You are good at this
thank you @adil for your appreciation
Nice post. But a lot of still go for a high protein diet but that is also dangerous as not getting enough protein , to much protein can lead to renal failure and kidney stones in some causes. I also take a lot of protein to be honest but most supplements of protein sugest to take in 2litres of water in together with high protein content.
yes, you have to drink a lot of water if you are on a high protein diet.. because water is needed by body to metabolize this protein into amino acids and thus these become part of body musclles.
I wonder where does all those protein shakes and powder taken by the bodybuildrs go ??? :)

Their bodies have high metabolic rates , as they do heavy workout which tear up their muscles, so they need protein for recovery.. thats why hhgh protein diets usually dnt harm their bodies, as they dnt have a sedentery life styles..
