I love honey, but I haven't ever tried unfiltered honey, can you taste the difference? Our supermarkets have started selling honey jars with honeycomb in too, the idea sounds weird to me but my wife says it's delicious. Might have to give it a go! Certainly not a honey connoisseur though! Just plain old store bought does me!

Well, I can taste differences between kinds of honey (multi-clover vs orange blossom) but within the same kind of honey, I don't really taste a big difference between filtered and unfiltered. I'd say the difference is unfiltered tastes less overtly sugary sweet which I like. Supposedly there are health benefits to raw unfiltered, but it doesn't seem like science actually supports it. It's funny, I just posted this for a food photo but it turned into a popular conversation. People love their honey!
People love their honey and their Bees! It's just one of those kind of incredible little feats of nature really. People loved Stevia and Truvia, then science said those were worse than Sugar. You just can't beat nature, Honey is the natural healthy alternative! Might have to get adventurous and try some orange blossom honey next time I'm at the shops!
