Cream cheese icing on cinnabuns, huh? I usually make Portsmouth icing, which is just powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk, as I recall. XD I'm wondering how cream cheese icing would taste...
Ooooh gods!! You've really never had cream cheese icing before Phe??????? Ooh mmmmm... I barely put any icing sugar in it, mostly just cream cheese and a bit of butter, sugar, only to taste! Sometimes a little lemon juice really knocks it up a step as well!!
I'm honestly not sure I've had it. Maybe many, many years ago, but I've definitely never made it. Even my butter icing that I put on cakes doesn't have cream cheese in it.
Cream cheese icing is for carrot cake and cinnamon buns. In my experience that's where it's found. I basically only make cinnamon buns and carrot cake to eat cream cheese icing. I would just feel too sick to sit there and eat it straight (though I admit to a few spoonfulls here and there).
Basically I give it 20 thumbs up!
Hahahaha. I understand. Sometimes I make cookies or brownies because I just want batter ...but there is a line where it's too much, lol.
