Right now I am still waiting for 500 sbd that I transferred to them during that time period where steem was worth well over two bucks, over fifty days ago. My husband put in two tickets, heard nothing, then on the third one he was told that if he sent in another it would be considered spamming and would result in being banned from the server! While also saying that they would get back to him shortly. Since this is the only way to even communicate with them the f&*ckers have literally made it impossible to do so.
And here's the kicker regarding their new terms of use:
Simply using their service in any way will be agreeing to the new terms of use according to the wording in these terms. Just signing in will do it. There's only one way around it, a way to continue pursuit of your 'property' without being beholden to the new terms of use, you will need to write them something very similar to this:
For the record, I DO NOT agree with your revised Terms of Use as to the matter presented in this ticket and any matter that remains unresolved that occurred before your Terms of Use revision.
Continued use of your service will be done out of necessity
as to not incur a loss of property.
In the preceding statement the words "revised Terms of Use" is defined as the revision of the Terms of Use of the entity known as Poloniex dated 8/1/2017 AD, here: https://poloniex.com/terms/
So, you can continue to pursue this my friend, just be sure to include these words, or similar verbage. And you will not be alone in telling anyone who will listen about their bad experiences, my husband certainly will be as well.
Edit: My man told me to tell you that the word necessity is super important. Every word he writes pertaining to 'legal' issues are legalese words with meanings that have far more weight than people conversing.

My husband is considering doing a write up about it for me to post. He has screenshots of everything. Honestly he was only waiting to get vocal in hopes that we'd get it back first. At this point though...God, when we did the transfer steem was worth something like 2.30, so even if they did by some miracle make it right, they will not be making it right.
