Okay, let's start it this way, most of you do not know me, but I can assure you, my life is perfect.
I wake up to the sounds of birds every morning because I can't stand alarms. My last alarmclock broke, so I had to embrace nature.
Who needs those "expensive, large corporation gadgets", that steal money from hardworking citizens.
For breakfast, I drink a cup of coffee because it's obviously cheaper than a cup of milk and bournvita. Strange times right? But I don't care, my life is perfect.
I live in my car so I don't sleep worrying about thieves scaling my fence and breaking into my house.
Wait, you won't call "car jackers" thieves right?... Well, I don't know.
I guess we all meet criminals but mine are less violent. Most times they only want to steal the car battery. So I guess I sleep easier than you do.
Yes, you guessed it also. I do not pay taxes. How could I, I live in my fucking car. Whenever I'm wanted in this state, I'd drive to the next state. I'm a real life moving train.
Life as an immigrant is not easy here, so it's hard to keep a steady job. But who cares, if you don't give me a steady job, then you don't get any tax from me. This is the perfect life.
Well I could go on and on, but I don't want to rub it your faces. You want this life right?
Well, I don't think you do. I don't think you want to wake up everyday, in the back seat of your 1984 Nissan Salon Car, with stiff legs because you couldn't change positions the whole night.
I don't think you want to wake up to the smell of coffee after an overnight fast; drinking that black juice on an empty stomach.
Always remember, a lot of people have perfect lives because they don't tell you their pains. This perfect life with smiling faces, is the reality of a lot of people.
I put myself in their position and take a walk in their shoes and remind myself never to be blind to the suffering around me.
PS: In this season of Love, put a smile on someone's face if you can. It might mean the world to them.
