Whoooo! Thank you so much!
Brilliant! Made me envision those scenes and I'll be honest - I am pretty horny minded right now!
I must have done it right!!! I gotta say writing things like this has the exact same effect on me ;)
hahaha! Love the honesty @spellmaker ;)
Right? Most just think that :)
Precisely!
That was an awesome story and... That was hot 🔥 as.. F... K 😜 got me.... Lol
Well written my friend and I think the good morning sunshine was a nice save for not remembering her name. Thank you for sharing. Cheers! 😉👍
Thanks for the great compliment. I was feeling a bit hot myself!
got my attention from the beggining, lovely!
she felt like Heaven.
the best feeling of the world.
Right? I STILL love it when I catch my husband watching me with that look when I wake up in the morning!
howdy @byn! who's Paul? who wrote this thing? what the???
lol! fantastic job of keeping us guessing!
Lol, I wondered what you'd have to say to this one! :) I was in a strange mood yesterday.
oh, being in a strange mood is an anomaly for you? lol
I WAS a little bit shocked.
You're such a teatotaler :)
a what? there's too many women on these comments
I gotta get outa here! this is no place for a man!
haha @janton, tough Texan is a scaredy-cat lol
scared? noo. more like terrified!
I know that I've seen it in person... The fact that this genius just spews out of your fingers as they fly across the keys. And yet, it's really hard to believe that this stuff in all its glory just emerges from you unbidden and unprepared.
I'm particularly partial to, "... felt like coming home."
Also, sex on a stick? That's perfect. I want sex on a stick at the county fair. Where did that come from?
Your talent with imagery, without having to describe each and every little thing, is truly amazing.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. If I didn't know by virtue of the fact that I've watched you do it in person, I would never in a million years believe that this is not only a first draft but a five minute first draft.
You are beyond amazing, and I am so amazingly proud to call you my wife.
You are even better at the encouragement than anyone has a right to be. Thank you for your constant and continual support. There is no way I would be able to keep writing every day if not for you always being there, reading and making me feel like a million dollars. Now, if we could only find someone to pay me a million dollars we'd be set!
Spicy indeed! Love it!!!
Thank you! I wrote the story of the same night from her perspective as well :)
It's AWESOME!
I feel like I've been visited by a celebrity :) I adore you so much and I know how much you do. The fact that you took time to visit me, read AND comment made my day! I know you have a LOT of people to keep up with (and I know how hard of a time I have trying to keep up with everyone!) I just wanted you to know that you honestly made me smile this morning. THANK YOU for everything you do!
hahaha pfffft!!!! but thank you angel! You just returned that favour... as I have not had the GREATEST day lol - and this was such a lovely thing to read right now. So thank you for that! I carry a lot of guilt actually with how I struggle to get to everyone that I care about and especially in the last two weeks. So today I took somewhat of a breather and just spent the whole day reading and engaging. It was precisely what I needed!
I really appreciate you saying what you did, it definitely put a little sparkle into an otherwise dull day!
Love you lots hon xxx MWAH!
bahaha I love it!! Ahhh the days of forgetting someone's name :)
Well written @byn! I'm forwarding this to c-squared (a mini-curie run by some of the same folks); hope they pay you a visit!
Thank you! Those were the days... :)
Thank you so much! I was actually inspired to write HER side of the story this morning... I had to write it from both perspectives, it was just too good of an opportunity to waste!
You are most welcome @byn! It was too good of opportunity to waste. I was so pleased to see the ending and that it just wasn't smutty hahaha although I love me some good smutty too 😎
Oh, me too, but good smut is hard to find. (no pun intended)
This was one of the few freewrites where I knew the ending before I started writing. I saw the "Good Morning Sunshine" prompt and that was the first thing that popped into my head! It cracked me up :) I'm glad people seemed to enjoy it!
It was very funny! Love that the girl had the same reaction, no typical tears and whiny kind of stuff :) That's my kinda girl right there haha
Thank you for the C-squared recommendation!!! They did stop by! I really appreciate the support!
Hooray @byn! I was thinking of it the other day when @janton was mentioning how "undervalued" your work was! I'm so pleased for you; it was my pleasure 😅
Great story, fabulously written as ever, and I loved the last line... I wonder if they ever asked/confessed that neither of them knew the other's name. As someone who constantly forgets to pay attention when people tell me their name (not in the same situation, of course!) I have a certain sympathy with both of them! :)
Oh man, I am AWFUL with names!!! I can remember all kinds of things that people tell me, but I am forever forgetting their names. Even trying all the tricks in the book to remember and I still forget. :/ Actually, I have the same problem when writing stories as well. I get half way through and then go 'wait, what the hell is this persons NAME?' so it's not even JUST in person!
I'm hooked now. I really hope you're going to add to this. I'd love to see how this grows.
I'm glad you liked it! It would be cool to write a romance from both perspectives.
You should. I've actually read stories like that and I really enjoyed it. Especially a love story as its nice to have the other persons perspective of the same thing.
Well, my husband and I are working on writing our perspectives of OUR love story, but I'm not sure how romantic it will be at the start! I mean, we're still together 25 years later, so there must be something there ;) I have so many longer stories/projects going, I need to work on my lack of focus and get ANY one of them finished!
Sounds interesting @byn. Wow and congratulations on the 25 years. There's bound to be a lot of interesting tales in there for sure.
Thank you for joining us with your #freewrite! You were featured in our weekly Freewrite Favorites #16 today! Congratulations and keep writing!
