I too played snakes and ladders. You surprise me with such a powerful rendition of what 'just a game', of many years ago, could mean to our lives.
I am, honest to say, inspired by how you relate to to our live's and challenges.
This is easily the most educative story of the prompt. I mean this, at least in my own opinion.

Whao. Very glad to here that. We all have to learn from each other, and keep improving. That is the secret. I think when i look back on my works since joining steemit about 70 days ago, that my present works are much more improved than when i started. And that is down to the willingness to learn.
Keep writing, stick to quality, finally it pays off. My works are certainly starting to pay off now. But look at how many posts and how long i have been around, such a long while, and so many posts. What does that mean? perseverance. It works, and i encourage you to have the same.
And sooner from $0.0... the upvotes and earnings and recognition and improvement in your writing will all come.

Thank you. It is really encouraging. I, too, have noticed my improvements. And reading different articles helped me to learn a lot and improve a lot.
Indeed. Perseverance is the key. There are times I would lose heart in continuing. But I take inspiration from everyone who never stopped writing and contributing. And eventually, all their efforts have paid off.
And, I will be heading to that direction as well. Thank you for the support and encouragement.
