Miami sighed.

"You won't even notice you are on the elevator," he said. "Just stand there, close your eyes and the next thing you know you'll be there."

Elma looked at Bill, who looked at Elma, who looked at Nancy who looked at Mr Bones. Mr Bones seemed to be looking at something on his shoe.

"Unbelievable," he said. "There is a patch of mould on my shoe."

Miami looked at him.

"Don't you mean mold?" he asked. "Mr Bones narrowed his eyes, and shook his head. "I'm not American, I don't drop U's willy nilly."

Miami shrugged.

"Come on," he said. "Time to go."

All of them clambered onto the Elevator, and Elma closed her eyes. Suddenly she felt movement. She opened an eye, just a little bit. And then screamed. She was half a mile up in the air. Bill was screaming too. They both held each other, screaming. Nancy looked at Mr Bones and rolled her eyes.

"Sorry about them," she said.

Been away for while so I need to catch up on my favorite freewrite!
Just in case you're wondering, today's prompt is Herbs!

Thanks for popping by! Hope you are well! :)

Funny ending, both mould and mold, I think they are pronounced the same way that you won't know the difference so far the it's been pointed at in the case above, don't you think ?

I stand to be corrected though.

Yes, it was just me being awkward when writing it! :)

I thought about the "u" as well. I know some Canadians who are touchy about the spelling of color too.

Yes, us Brits get annoyed about colour too. I get less annoyed about it now, than I used to.
