They call me the "potbellied pig" which ain't nice. It's true I may have a bit of a gut, I probably do drink a little bit too much beer and, yes, I do like one or two donuts before breakfast. But it's not very nice to draw attention to these things. I've tried to go on a diet. I really have. But I can't help myself, really I can't. I see the tray of goodies when I get into work, and they are just calling my name (and even if I try to imagine them calling my nickname - "potbellied pig! potbellied pig!" - it don't put me off none), and I just can't help but go up to that tray of pastries and grab myself one. Or two. When I was a kid, my mom used to say that people bullied you 'cos they was jealous. I tried to believe that for a while. But sometimes I look at myself in the mirror of my bedroom and I think "I honestly don't know why anyone would be jealous of that"...
I think there are a lot of people that just can't resist the donuts sitting around. I don't get why so many places where people sit all day have all those sugar snacks sitting around.
That takes a lot of self- control
