"You are such a fool."
That is a sentence that he heard countless of times in his life, probably ever since he could remember. He smiled weakly and rubs his nape "I can't help it. she looks like she needed help, I'm positive that she really needs the help."
A loud sigh left his wife's lips, she slumped on the couch and shook her head "But she could be just faking it, you know how many times you have been tricked by people."
His lips tugs into a wide grin as he sat beside her and hugs her from the side "I know, but that doesn't mean I should be suspicious of others too. You know that blessings always comes to those who are willing to help." He squeezed her a little "Isn't that why you fall for me?"
A light smack landed on his arm but he could see her smiling again just right after she rolled her eyes. "Sometimes I wonder why, you overgrown puppy." Leaning into his embrace, she thought about their days together and knew that he was right. albeit not being super rich and privilaged, they had never been stressed over needs and there are always people who cares for them. That's all because of him, because everyone has a soft spot for him. It was just like teh time she fall for him, her husband had been foolish enough at that time to keep helping her essays even though it was mostly him doing it while she just sat beside him. That was when she realized how could there be such a nice yet foolish person and it was attractive to her. It was also because of that, she has matured into a more responsible person and made it her mission not to let him gets fooled by others. Yes, she does love him a lot.
I had no idea how this became cheesy, but I feel all fluffy inside after writting this. Writting is truly theuraphetic.
