Ok thank you sir Glen. How's it going with all those projects around the house? Did you guys get the fence repaired and the gutters cleaned out and some other things done I can't remember all of them.
Fence hasn't been upgraded yet, but it's still functioning as it was. haven't had too many boards falling off like in past years. :) Gutters got cleaned a while ago. One bed got tilled and planted with some vegetables, the other got half of it planted with something else before I could till it.
New bark got put down (there's still a couple of bags to do. So, some things have been accomplished, and there's still others to do.
Howdy today sir Glen! well, as long as the Missus is satisfied with the progress right? Everyone says this is the year for the solid bull market for Bitcoin and that it will pull up all the altcoins but it seems like Steem keeps slipping in the ranks and now is at 62 I believe?
The missus isn't ever really satisfied. Once she sees movement in one direction, there needs to be movement somewhere else. Ad infinitum.
re: bull market
Bitcoin and a few others have definitely seen some upward movement. What that means, I don't know. The bull may be running for them, but as you say, it's not really started for STEEM yet. Maybe tomorrow's EOS announcement has something to do with that? Or maybe nothing we do here or out there has anything to do with what goes on.
It's unfortunate that they rank by market cap rather than by unit value. That means there's all kinds of coins out there with lower value per unit than STEEM, but they get the billion dollar market cap because there's a billion coins. Who knows who actually holds them.
haha! laughing at the Missus wanting work to keep getting done. because we have the same situation as you know. lol..all you can do is laugh at it and then do what you can.
Oh, duh on me. I haven't been to Coinmarketcap much but now I feel as dumb as a box of rocks because I didn't realize that's how they were deriving the worth of the coins..it's even the name of the site! lol. Oh well, at least I finally got it. yeah I agree with you on that, the pricing thing!
No need to feel dumb. In my mind, it doesn't really tell you anything, other than someone has a bunch of tokens. Doesn't mean the tokens are worth much. It just means there's enough out there to generate some cost per unit.
If they got away from the market cap and looked at unit cost, STEEM's higher, even at $0.40. We're getting torched by a bunch of tokens that seem to have one use, and may or may not be being used for that use.
As far as I know, it shouldn't matter from what frontend you paste it in. It just needs to show up on STEEM.
