This might be a bit extreme but where I come from we hear sighting of ghosts and such.
My family always had this “it’s not real approach”, but whether they exist or not I’ve always had caution and rightly so. Because we live in a world where anything is possible, just because it doesn’t happened to me it doesn’t mean it’s not real.

If I see a ghost, I'll just assume that I'm imagining things. There is scientific evidence of all kinds of hallucinations, but not of ghosts. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
