Day 158: 5 Minute Freewrite: Monday - Prompt: scout

in #freewrite7 years ago

Scout until you can’t scout anymore. This planet will never get boring but just think of the scouting yet to be done and the next life on another planet. Scouting the corners, secrets and deep dark places that make you just straight up feeling weird, embrace the unsettling feeling as you have become a scout of the third kind, navigating with your third eye, looking for an adventure and whatever comes our way. Scout the way to the tip-top of the tree or the bottom of the rock query. Be back on the sideways place battling with the longboard over the concrete curb as you scout away a new area, a new terrority over the tracks and on the wrong side of town meaning the mundane side, the kitsch, the clipped and the simplistic. What is the thrill in that I ask? Why not scout your mind? Why not scout your neighbourhood.. The internet has got your back and along you check in with the rents, you should be on time to make a dent in the map that you best be scouting, bring a towel, bring some h20 and best of all bring a friend cause you should not scout along this isn’t pokemon go this isn’t GPS treat tracking, scouting out your own path probably more in kin to the google map. So off we go to scout out the week, the dip in the bubble, the film on the edge of the water, and the reality within our souls.

Thank you thank you :)

I've always said that longboarding has gotten me to scout areas I would have never normally, all in the name of finding some fun pavement. Cool to see I am not the only one.
