Jane has always been the athletic type with insane times and multiple records, not to say a rockin' body that most boys found extremely attractive. She didn't though, even though she did know she was not ugly, she never showed off her good curves or strong physique. She mostly kept to herself and dressed not to impress but to cover as much of her as possible. Except for sports days where the mandatory outfit had to be worn. She never even kissed a boy until even though she will be turning 18 next month. Yes, she fantasized about it and very much would have liked to try it out, but she was always too shy and insecure.
Finally, 18 years of age has come and gone, her new ride was as beautiful as she was and she drove it hard and fast. This made her even more attractive to everyone around her. Until that fateful night when she was just too tired after all her training, the car skid out from under her and she had a head-on collision with a tree... She never looked the same.
This did not bother Sam, as he has always liked her for her, and not for her looks. While visiting her in the hospital and reading to her while she slept she somehow got over her shyness of boys. Two weeks later before she finally woke up, Sam decided to take the leap and kiss her on the forehead before he left. It was all she needed to wake up, it was just a little stimulation in the right direction of recovery and true love.
