As I understand you do have a story in mind before you start. I seldom have. I simply start writing and the words come... if I likeit or not. But I guess that is the great thing of freewriting.

I have no story in mind either. I'm like you you I just write and words just come out. I try to make my stories based around characters and its like I'm someone who follows them around and writes down everything they do.
