I just went outside to get the mail from our cluster box and the sky was getting dark.
Looks like there was going to be some change in the weather, because I could smell rain.
It hasn't rained in San Antonio for almost 30 days and our aquifer level was getting low, and was threating Stage 2 water rationing.
That would be watering once a week, once a day. Hopefully, this rainfall will prolong Stage 2 for a couple weeks.
Life sustaining rain must fall over our recharge zone, but the problem is, we do so much building, the zone is getting smaller everyday.
Unfortunately, Stage 2 will happen this year, you can bet you house on it.

I love the sound of rain, especially after long days of having none. <3 Good freewrite!
I hear you!! The same thing is happening everywhere. And people direct the water off the property instead of catching it, using it and allow it slowly to fill up the aquifer again...
I love seeing caterpillars in my yard!! No, not the huge machines - my little dudes like to watch those 😉 Hope you are having some writing fun today and I am so happy that you are part of the Freewriters!!!
Remember to drop your link to your favorite freewrite of a fellow freewriter at the Freewrite House on Tuesday!! Or any day…
