It is a shame no one replied. Universal language is an interesting topic. I have done some similar articles too. As an Esperanto speaker I am convinced it would serve much better than English or French as it is much easier to learn and inspite its simple structure it is very flexible...
Why do you think it is not universal? Maybe because not many people speak it? Esperanto is really spoken around the world. If politicians or UN would go for it, we ALL could have a second language for global communication. Esperanto is yet not perfect however has a graet developing potantial.
By the way writing an article in two languages in one go might usful for the writer and in some special cases even helpful for the reader but normaly it makes reading more complicate and not many people will go for it. Look alone on Steemit, there is not much resonance. Better if you read two languages seperately in one article. It is like in real communication where we do not switch languages every minute.
