It very much feels at times like we are living in a mirror world these days.

and smart is considered "stupid"

Assholes are considered nice
Nice people are considered assholes

    Absolutely. I feel you may enjoy this quote-- it's one of my favourites.

    “Just look at us. Everything is backwards, everything is upside down. Doctors destroy health, lawyers destroy justice, psychiatrists destroy minds, scientists destroy truth, major media destroys information, religions destroy spirituality and governments destroy freedom.”

    Backwards is the correct word I would say.
